Overview

Silver Owl Studios LLC ("Silver Owl," "we," "us") respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe that content available on or through APEX Terminal infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice as described below.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

To file a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written communication must include all of the following:

1. Identification of the copyrighted work — A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list.

2. Identification of the infringing material — A description of the material you claim is infringing and that you want removed, with enough detail for us to locate it (e.g., URL or specific page).

3. Contact information — Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

4. Good faith statement — A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

5. Accuracy statement — A statement that the information in your notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

6. Signature — A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

1. Identification of removed material — A description of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.

2. Statement under penalty of perjury — A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

3. Consent to jurisdiction — A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Silver Owl may be found.

4. Contact information — Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

5. Signature — Your physical or electronic signature.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed material within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files an action seeking a court order.


Repeat Infringer Policy

Silver Owl will terminate the accounts of users who are determined, in our sole discretion, to be repeat infringers of third-party copyrights.


Limitation of Liability

Silver Owl is not liable for any infringement of copyrights or other intellectual property rights caused by third parties. This policy is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice.
